Ok, here's a question post for this week.
Is it really better to have loved and lost than never loved at all?
I know many people have strong feelings about one side or the other, so express them here and share why you feel this way. If you're opinion falls somewhere in the middle, explain that too. I'd really like to know your opinions on this one.
I've felt both ways at some point in my life: EX: If you've never loved, you don't know what you're missing; on the other hand, do you think people who've never loved still yearn to love?
Discuss.
I'm on the side of to have loved and lost. I think everyone should know what it is to love and have someone confirm you are worthy of love (God's love counts too). Its a wonderful thing! And if I'm single forever... I'm glad that I had the opportunity to give and receive it. I think its about what you learn from love. It can be that you never thought you would do the things you do... or that you could ever feel that way about someone other than your family. Everyone deserves that... because I think love reveals things to us about ourselves.
